The recipient of this award will be honoured at a special Awards ceremony to be held at Bethsalem Care in December, and their achievement will be featured in the January newsletter.
About Marion Matthews
& the award in her memory
Marion Matthews lived a remarkable life, reaching the age of 106. During her six-year residency at Bethsalem Care, she touched the hearts of many with her warmth, wisdom, and enduring spirit.
Following her passing, and in consultation with her family, we are honoured to commemorate Marion’s legacy through an award that reflects the values she embodied. This tribute serves not only to remember a cherished friend but also to inspire our team to carry forward her example.
Through this award, we celebrate and encourage the qualities Marion so graciously lived by—kindness, positivity, and genuine care for others. By recognising employees who emulate her approach, we ensure that her influence continues to shape the culture of Bethsalem Care.In doing so, future residents, staff, and volunteers will continue to benefit from the lasting presence of Marion’s spirit in our community.
